Occasionally, you may experience an error after submitting an article (i.e. a
page with the words - "Internal Server Error 500" appears). We are currently trying to identify
what is causing this error, but if it happens to you, please do not panic. Simply follow the
instructions below and everything will turn out fine:
-
Hit the "back" button in your browser. All of the information you have entered should
still be there.
-
Select all of your article's main body, then copy it to a plain text file and save it
on your computer.
-
Replace all of the content in your article's main body with the word "test" (without
the quotes) - You don't need to change anything else on the article submission page -
i.e. leave the title, summary and keywords section as they are. Just make sure there is
no content in the main article body section, other than the word "test".
-
Submit your article again - it should work fine. Then, email the plain text file
containing the body of your article that you saved in Step 2 above as an attachment to
editor@greenlivingarticledirectory.com.
Add the title of your article in the subject of the email and send it to us. You don't
need to write anything else - just send the title of the article in the email subject
line with the attached article in a plain text file (e.g. notepad) and we will add it
to the directory.
-
If, after following the above steps, you are still experiencing problems submitting
your article, then just email us ( editor@greenlivingarticledirectory.com)
a plain text file containing all the information (e.g. specify author name, article

Editorial Guidelines For Submitting Articles To
GreenLivingArticleDirectory.com's Article Directory
These editorial guidelines are designed to help you understand what content we accept and don't
accept for inclusion in our article directory. Before you submit your articles to our site, please read this page
first. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.
1. GreenLivingArticleDirectory.com Editorial Guidelines: (CONTENT)
To Qualify For Inclusion In Our Article Directory, Your Article:
* MUST BE ORIGINAL. If you work for an author as an employee or contractor and
are submitting the article, please submit the article from the original author's account.
* MUST BE related to at least one of the following topics:
-
green living / simple living
-
sustainability / sustainable / renewable products, methods, technologies or materials
-
recycled / reclaimed products, methods, technologies or materials
-
natural / organic products, methods, technologies or materials
-
eco friendly / earth friendly products, methods, technologies or materials
-
environmental / conservation issues, products, methods, technologies or materials
* MUST NOT BE AN ARTICLE FROM THE PUBLIC DOMAIN OR PLR MATERIAL. If you hired a
ghost writer or freelance writer to write your articles, you MUST hold EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS for any articles or content
created for you.
Please don't submit articles from PLR article packs that have non-exclusive licenses. Putting
your name as the author of an article that may already have been claimed as having been written by dozens of other
authors can affect your credibility, and we do not want multiple copies of the same article appearing in our
directory.
* MUST BE informative and share your unique expertise. Include tips,
strategies, techniques, case-studies, analysis, opinions and commentary in your articles. We do not accept articles
containing more than 5 lines of quoted or sourced material.
* MUST NOT be a press release, advertisement or sales letter. Articles cannot contain
promotional copy, or blatant and excessive self-promotion or hype.
* MUST USE proper English, spelling, grammar, punctuation, capitalization and sentence
structure. Your article can be written in a conversational or less formal style, but should still
adhere to common standards of comprehension. Your articles must be clear, concise, proofed and double checked for
accuracy. If English is not your first language, please have it proofed by a native English speaker before
submitting your articles to us.
* SIMPLE PUNCTUATION RULES: One or two spaces after each period, colon, or
semi-colon; Periods should be inside of quotes; When doing "..." you should use only 3 dots minimum and maximum;
When using dashes, use two in a row, ex: "--"; There is never a space BEFORE a period or BEFORE a comma.
* MUST NOT contain: pornography/adult material, hate or violence-oriented,
suggest racial intolerance, advocate against any individual or group, have insulting, obscene, degrading tone, or
contain profanity.
* MUST NOT contain information on: Hacking/cracking content, bomb
creation, support for terrorism/ radicalism/ religious fanaticism, illicit drugs or drug paraphernalia, steroid use
or advocacy, weapon/ firearms/ ammunition/ balisongs/ butterfly knives or brass knuckles, or the promotion of hard
alcohol/tobacco-related products or prescription drugs.
* MUST NOT contain information that promotes: Term papers or essays for
sale to college students, PLR (Private Label Rights) articles, the promotion of email Safe-Lists, bulk email
spamming, advocacy for paid auto-surf programs, advocacy of click fraud or clicking on Adsense ads, advocacy of
creating MFA's (Made For Adsense) sites, or advocacy of Adsense Arbitrage.
* MUST NOT contain any content that is a violation of any law, be considered
defamatory, libelous, or infringes on the legal rights of others.
* MUST NOT be identical to articles that you already submitted. Do not
submit the same article multiple times with only a few words changed in the body -- we will reject these and cancel
the account of authors who engage in this practice.
* MUST NOT include a reply to a personal email, letter or other
correspondence.
* MUST NOT contain excessive and/or bolded keywords/ phrases. Bolding is
limited to headings and subheadings.

use different anchor text in your links (e.g. no dig gardening and raised bed gardening)

Adding targeted keywords specifically related to your article will help you attract more visitors
to your article.
-
Separate each KEYWORD with a comma.
-
We suggest using a good keyword research tool like Market Samurai to help you identify the best
keywords to use for your particular niche.
-
For optimal results, please enter between 5-10 keywords in the keyword field before submitting your
article.
-
Do not enter keywords that are completely unrelated to the content of your article.
3. BigGreenWeb.com Editorial Guidelines: (AFFILIATE PROGRAMS):
Affiliate links are allowed if the link is a domain name that you own which then forwards or
redirects to the affiliate link. A great tool we recommend for creating affiliate link redirects is
GoTryThis.
